Hello and Welcome to Cynthia Hudson Style!

I am a 40-something (ok, pushing 50), married, mom of 4 kids and a toy poodle and I’m a personal stylist/shopper.  I have always loved and had fun with fashion, beauty products and shopping! Most importantly, I enjoy helping women build their confidence through what they wear and help them build a wardrobe that works!

Cynthia Hudson Style will focus on fashion and beauty for the 40+ women.  Through a mix of original photography, things discovered on-line, in-store or out and about, I will bring you outfit ideas, shopping links, latest trends in fashion, beauty, accessories, shoes, jewelry, styling ideas, new products, shops and things that inspire me (and, hopefully you)!

The dress I am wearing in the photos that follow is Madewell’s Flutter-back Overlay Maxi Dress.  I fell in love with the ease, color and comfort of this dress.  And, adore the open, but not too open back.   It is also versatile. By changing up the accessories, makeup and shoes it could work for day or evening. It is available at Madewell stores and at Nordstrom. (click on store names for link to store.)

I accessorized for a casual day event by wearing a beaded bracelet and beaded hoop earrings, as well as, my grandmother’s ring.  Sunglasses are by Chanel.   My lip and nail color are my go-to summer reds: Nail color is Essie in Clambake and Lip Colour is by Laura Mercier in Portofino Red.
